Tim Powell has wrote a song called, "New Places", and we're trying to get it onto the Hobbit movie soundtrack. Check out his site for more details, and keep an eye out on youtube.com for some "Hobbit Hunters" videos come January. www.myspace.com/timothymichaelpowell . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . If you like the Chronicles of Narnia (CS Lewis was a good friend of JRR Tolkien) check out my new Narnia site called "For Narnia and For Aslan" It's still in the beginning stages, but I'm continuing to update it and there's a new and exciting video contest you need to check out! http://fornarniaandforaslan.bravehost.com Sorry I can't link it, and I won't be able to do many updates to this site because my computer crashed and I lost FrontPage (the software I used to create this site) I may do more with it later, but I don't know. For now, enjoy what's here, and check out the Narnia site. Thanks! (May 18, 2006) I've visited too many websites about LotR to count, so "Why?" one may ask, "am I creating yet another one?" One answer is that I made several collages that I used to have on my other site, but it was getting crowded. So I said to myself, "Hey, why not create a site dedicated to the Lord of the Rings?" And so, here I am, making yet another lotr site. But I hope you will enjoy this one and I'll try my best to make it original.  I just started getting into the Lord of the Rings in December, when my dad and I watched all three movies within a time span of a week and a day. (I had seen the Fellowship about a month earlier at college, but other than that I was clueless to what this was all about) At Camp America last year, I was confused and a little annoyed when two of my friends there kept going on and on about these movies. They went around naming fellow campers after members of the fellowship, and I thought they were crazy! (they said I was "Merry" by the way) But now I realize why they were so excited, and now probably some people think I'm crazy... But it's true, so I guess they should think that Anyway, without further ado (whatever that is) Here is my site:

     Merry       Frodo       Sam      Pippin

Updates/Journal:

Well, it's been a while...a very long while...but I'm finally back to do a little bit of updating. Added some new wallpapers and a desktop theme. Not having any good ideas for this site, but thinking about creating a fanflick awards/contest site.

Guess that's all for now, hope ya'll had a happy valentine's day!

Well, this semester is almost over, and it's been good!

Good news! The Return of the King EE is coming really soon!

Let us remember all that we should be thankful for this year!

And since I won't be able to update again before next semester...

I hope you all have a very merry Christmas, and remember that Jesus is the Reason for the Season!

I know I haven't updated much lately, but that time has come around again! I changed a little on this page and added some new wallpapers. I'm working on a new section for the site, so be looking for it soon!

Hi, how are ya? I'm doing fine. School is going great, we finally have a pastor again (after over a year), my birthday is coming up and life is pretty good. Praise God.

Well, I've actually been spending most of my free time:

a) working on my new site "The Battle for America" you should check it out. I hear it's good. (ooh, but I don't usually listen to those voices in my head... j/k :)

b) working on my lotr fan-fic, The Test of Friendship. I wrote close to three chapters in 2 days...

c) this weekend I was blessed to spend a few days on my grandparents farm and my cousin and I went four-wheeling (yipee!) and I watched country music videos. Oh, and we also explored this old, old house in the woods. It was kinda falling down and the whole thing was made of tobacco sticks. Crazy.

So, I am definitely not retiring this site, just I'm a little focused elsewhere. But I did upload some new wallpapers and more of my story, so be sure to check those out, and stay tuned for more updates!

Happy Labor Day! (by the way, how come they call it labor day? I got out of class and my dad was off work....kinda silly, don't you think? :)

* * *

Well, let me start off by making a disclaimer. The summer was quite busy, although very awesome I must say, and I was without my DSL connection that my college spoiled me with. Therefore, I know this site did not get updated in a very long while. Sorry, but what can I say? :)

I haven't lost interest in the Lord of the Rings by any means. In fact, I have been working on a fan-fic story called the Test of Friendship all summer. I think I'm up to chapter 10 now, some of it is up in the fan-fic section of this site - you should check it out!

I've also been playing the Return of the King computer game, and it's really cool. My brother and I have almost beat it as of yet, but we're stuck on Gandalf's path. If anyone knows the secret to beating the level where you knock down orc ladders all day, please let me know! Thanks! :)

All that said, let me say that God really worked through us this summer. We had three mission trips where we did VBS type stuff with kids and then the VBS at our church. It was really awesome! Although, I don't allow anyone to sing or hum the VBS songs around the house, cause I'm a bit tired of them :) It was a great summer!

Well, I suppose that's enough chit-chat for now. Look for more updates coming sooner than it took to get the last one!

Oh, and many thanks to everyone who signed the guestbook, I love to hear what you guys (and gals) have to say! We're well over 500 visitors which rocks my socks off! :) Thanks for stopping by!

Yes, and the real reason for this section :) I added new wallpapers and some more stuff. Hope you like them!

I added a new link, to Concerning Hobbits, it's a great site with a lot of high quality pics, all from RotK. I was excited to find pics from the Grey Havens scene and at the end where Sam goes home, the little hobbit kids are so cute : )

Also, I have other good news...I am finished with yet another semester of college! (some friends and I are going to see the Return of the King tonite in celebration! : ) I got my english paper back and I got an A on it, I was happy!

Added a guest map, so stop by and peg your location when you get a chance. It'll be cool once there's several pegs on it and we can see where all the hobbit fans are from all over the world! ...Ok, well maybe not just yet, but you gotta start somewhere! :)

We're over 100 visitors now, I'm so excited! Thanks for dropping by, and check back here soon!

School is almost over - Yeah!

********************************

I have a story to tell...we went to Ichthus (this awesome Christian music festival) this past weekend and it was something else! It rained, and rained, and rained, and the whole place was one giant mud pit! But it was a year for the history books...bands were cancelled because of the mud, campers and vans were having ten guys push them to even get to their camp spots, abandoned flip-flops were not an uncommon sight. It was great! I got to see the Relient K and Switchfoot, so I was happy. Sad that Thousand Foot Krutch got cancelled though...anyway, it was awesome!

I added some movie clips and song lyrics to the new and improved "Media" section. I actually started a whole other site because I didn't have enough space here to put the mp3's. It's still under construction a bit, so I'll be tweaking it here and there.

I actually made up these really cool video things with clips from FotR, but they're currently too big to put up. Maybe I can figure that out sometime.

Well, I guess that's all I have for now...Have a spectacularly awesome day! Thanks to everyone who signed the guestbook, I really appreciate it!

Added the new fan-fic section "There and Back Again" and some new wallpapers.

Special thanks to Maddy Lake Deep for graciously allowing me to use her fan-fic to start the "There and Back Again" section! If you have any stories you would like to see on this site, please visit that section for more details and to read Maddy's story, Beloved Master.

I finished the rough-draft of my paper for English class, please read it and let me know what you think. Thanks! (hopefully my professor will like it, at least! :)

Hope everyone had a great Easter Sonday. Christ is Risen Indeed!

I have a few updates this week; I added two new chapters of Finding God in LotR. It's an awesome book, you should get a copy of it, it's pretty small too (which is good, cause I'm not really big on reading) it's really neat to see the parallels between the Lord of the Rings and the Bible. It's a good little book. Also, if there's anything that you would like to see here on this site, please let me know. I'm always open to new ideas! : )

Well, the buttons didn't work, so I did everything back the way it was. Added some media (more coming soon!) fixed some links, and created a message board/guestbook (please sign it if you get a chance - thanks!) I think I've finally picked a topic for my research paper for my English class :) I'll probably post it here once I get it written, because it's going to be about Lord of the Rings. Well, I don't want to bore everybody (if anyone even reads this :) Peacadios!

I had a great spring break, and hope that (if anyone visiting is still in school) the you did too! I haven't updated in a couple weeks because my source of internet access for my laptop is in my dorm room, but I'm back now!

I stayed with my cousin in Russellville for half the week (that was fun - helped my Granny paint her house, rode four-wheelers, played guitar with Travis, and watched Pirates of the Caribbean - good movie! ...and great soundtrack. I'm listening to it now :) I did Soak A City for the rest of my spring break. It was totally awesome! Had Freedom Experience at Bullitt East and over 90 decisions at last count! Go God!

I added buttons (hope they work) for this main page, cause the server wouldn't keep my font like I wanted it to. Added links and an affiliate (if you have a site and want to be an affiliate too, email me at bond007_mission3.16@juno.com ) I now have banners you can put up at your site if you want, hope you like them!

Just a note: I created this site on Microsoft Front Page without really knowing how to get this all "online" so I know a lot of the pics are still not up and stuff, but please be patient, I'm working on getting everything up and running. Please check back here soon as I'm planning on adding more stuff soon!
